Pride and Prejudice
Really, the movie is good.
The casting is impressive. All the actors/actresses are very well suited for the role they have been assigned with. It is the first time I've seen Keira Knightley acting so well and with a role that suits her. The actor for Mr. Darcy, Matthew Macfayden, is also pretty good. His acting is very convincing especially in the beginning of the film, where he is thought to be arrogant and stuff. The actress for the Mrs. Bennet character, Brenda Blethyn, is also good. Being able to portray the idea that forcing her children, because they are all women, to get married is the most important thing.
The cinematography is also pretty good. The dances, the clothing, and the setting are very delightful.
The sounds are okay. Although I didn't like the dialogues all too well because they are fast. Sometimes I get lost with the conversations that the characters were having and had to decipher what was happening with the context clues.
Good movie. It gives a strong impression of feminism and freedom. Kind of makes me remember my Humanities class.
The novel may be equally interesting. It may be a good way to spend some slack time to read it.
