My eldest sister and I decided to watch the movie.
The movie goes to show that, well, working hard and having faith will eventually lead to something good.
The casting is good. Will Smith is, hands down, astonishing for portraying the role of Chris Gardner in such an exceptional way. From his previous movies, his talents for comedy and action are pretty good, but this is his only movie where he showcased his touch of drama. Really the 'sleeping in the public comfort room' scene is touching.
Jaden Christopher Smith, a real life son of Will Smith, starred side by side with his father as Chris Gardner's son who is also named Christopher. He, too, portrayed his role remarkably.
Everything about the movie is good or acceptable, well, except for the ending. My sister and I are annoyed because of its abruptness. My sister was saying, "So that's why it didn't win an Oscar's".
It is kind of weird but it seems that all movies that I've been watching lately are all good. This one's good, too. Really. It makes me think that I should have watched Epic Movie.
